My Program for great eye health
Vegetables for Eye Health
If you want to get amazing eye health, I would grow and eat kale. Growing kale yourself is free and you can control how you fertilize and do pest control. This means you will not get pesticides on your food and you can grow the kale in better soil using compost or organic fertilizers. This will give you a better plant and therefore better nutrition. Another great benefit of growing your kale is you can eat it very fresh.
Kale has lots of Lutein and Zeaxanthins in it. Fresh kale has more than 3 times more Lutein and Zeaxanthin in it than fresh spinach. Spinach, as we know, is a great source of Lutein and Zeaxanthins so this shows how great kale is. I grow and eat both! Some things I like kale in and other things I like spinach in. Spinach is good and kale is great! So eat lots of kale this year. Kale also has a longer growing season than spinach. My kale lasted all year!
Berries for Eye Health
Many people love berries and gogi berries are great for your eyes. You can start them from seeds or buy cuttings. Starting them from seeds is not easy so I would recommend you get some cuttings if you want to grow some of these great bushes. Gogi berries can have the highest levels of Zeaxanthins of any food! This berry is like taking a supplement but tastes a little better. They are great fresh and you can also dry them and eat them all year long.
Supplements for Eye Health
The easiest way to help your eyes is to take Multi-Wow. This way you can make sure that you get enough nutrients to your eyes everyday. Multi-Wow makes it easy to get enough vitamin C, vitamin E, Lutein as well as a host of other nutrients that can help your eyes. Even with eating kale, gogi berries, and sunflower seeds, it would be hard to get the same amount of Vitamin C as Multi-Wow and almost impossible to get the same amount of Vitamin E.
My Best Approach to Eye Health
I think the best thing to do for your eyes is to eat great food like kale and gogi berries and take Multi-Wow everyday as well. Eating kale and gogi berries has advantages in that you can get a range of carotenoids (A nutrient that is in the vitamin A family). However, eating it everyday could pose some challenges and there are other nutrients you will need more of like vitamin C and E. Eating great food and taking Multi-Wow brings the best of both worlds together.
