A Few Things That May Help Tension Headaches!

I recently had a friend that was having tension headaches and asked for things that could help reduce them.  I mentioned that taking 200mg of Magnesium citrate before you workout or have a massage might help because magnesium is a muscle relaxant. This takes a few months to relax your muscles so you do not get tension headaches.  If you want a quicker fix you could try Kava Kava which is a muscle relaxing herb (See your doctor if you are on any other medication).  I also mentioned that for migraines Q10 works well for most people. These nutrients have good studies behind them and/or have worked well for my family and I.
