DHA and EPA has been shown to lower blood pressure. This effect has been shown in some clinical studies. I also know people it has worked for. As with almost anything, it does not work for everyone all the time, but it might be worth trying if you have blood pressure that is a little higher than you would like, but still in the "normal" range. Most of the studies I read used 3 to 6 grams of omega 3's a day and the lowering effect was about 3 to 5 mm Hg in the systolic pressure and about 2 to 3 mm Hg in the diastolic pressure. If you have high blood pressure see a doctor. This is not a cure or a treatment. If you are on any medication or have problems clotting see a doctor before you start DHA and EPA.
