I have been posting a lot of my post on our Facebook page, but I wanted to let everyone see my latest post. I am doing a series on how different supplements support our bodies. This post is talking about a few ways that vitamin E supports our body.
Vitamin E is great for your eyes and in my opinion is a close 2nd for supporting your eyes from cataracts (with vitamin C being first). It also is useful as an antioxidant in the skin and has been shown to thin the blood and help your cells not be to sticky (decrease platelet aggression).
I think almost everyone needs 200 IU's of natural d-alpha tocolpherol not the synthetic dl-alpha tocopherol version that does not work as well. Some may even need more because some of these effects take higher doses than that, like supporting cells from being to sticky will probably take between 800 IU and 1600 IU.
