Vitamin C is great!! It can be used as an anti-histamine. You have to take a lot of it (3,000mg at a time) to get this effect and it works even better when you add Quercetin, which also can be used as an anti-histamine and leukotriene blocker. I use 500mg of Quercetin with my vitamin C and the "side effect" is that you reduce your chance of getting cataracts (you need to take vitamin c everyday to get this "side effect"). Vitamin C also can lower your odds of getting gout! The more you take the more you lower your odds.
